Wesley Moody, Inc. is a family owned and operated landscaping business in the Adirondacks. Owners, Wesley Moody and Deborah Dupree have been in the landscaping business together for nearly 40 yrs. Growing up in the family business, son Patrick Dupree has almost as much experience.
Wesley, a direct descendant of Saranac Lake’s founder and first settler Jacob Moody, is the “landscape artist” of their business. He not only envisions their landscape plans but is a “hands on” contributor to their projects.
Patrick and longtime employee Matthew are landscape artists themselves. Specializing in boulder work, both have completed some very unique and creative projects throughout the Adirondacks.
Deborah and her sister, Mary, run the landscaping office along with the Moody Tree Farm Gift Shop and Christmas Store. Mary manages the moodytreefarm.com online store, as well as sews and embroiders their handmade balsam pillows.
Equipped with state of the art equipment, including barges, mini excavators, skidsteers, and a spider crane; the Moody family and crews are able to execute their landscape plans. The equipment is environmentally friendly allowing work to be carried out in wooded areas with minimal damage to the existing plant life.
